I’d like you all to close your eyes and just go into your breath for a moment. When I say go into your breath, I mean take deep breaths of inhalation and exhalation so you’re breathing with your entire body.
Now I want you to imagine feeling happy, and what that feels like for you. You may go back to a moment in time when it was particularly joyous, or it can be a gentle moment and you really felt a sense of happiness. It could be the birth of your child, or the playful eyes of your pet, or a beautiful moment in nature. Just notice the feelings that you’re having.
Now as you’re doing that I want you to imagine what it would be like to be living your life in a place of happiness regardless of what was happening in your life. I want you to go into the realm of imagination. What would that be like to hold a set point of happiness?
