Sometimes when I work with people who are dealing with a lot of fear and overactive minds I reflect this metaphor. We can become like our cars that are all iced up in the winter. Underneath the ice is a beautiful car. But all you see is ice. We’re all crusted up. We’ve got layers and layers and layers of self-protection around us. Will I be safe? Will people like me? Will I be okay? Will I be successful? So we have all of these layers of protection around us. Now when you go into the space of the heart, the heart is when for me I feel the most powerful. When I’m in my heart space I’m quite fearless. I’m powerful; I hold complete respect for everyone. And I can’t believe the creativity that comes in. So for me to be in my heart when I’m parenting, when I’m with my partner, when I’m with friends, I’m in a very solid place. I love that place because everything flows.

Mastery Practice Tool
Allow a gentle Mona Lisa smile to be with you and invite yourself to be open to the unexpected possibility in each day. At the end of each day reflect on a “warm moment” that touched your heart; a moment that places a smile on your face. And go to sleep, sigh, and breathe with that smile.Testimonial
Bev's Laughing and Breathing Belly Workshop for Children was one of the best I have attended. She has a gifted ability to gently connect with children and teach and share with them her techniques of belly breathing, rooting, mind vacations and laughter. These techniques soothe and calm them whenever they feel overwhelmed or anxious - be at school, home or before bed time. Whether you have an overwhelmed pre-schooler or a test-anxious pre-teen, Bev's approach works! I love that she gave parents the tools to model and share these fundamentals of meditation with their children. I would encourage families to take her course...your children will thank you and you will benefit from ways to keep yourself calm and allow wisdom in.
