What is Mastery?

How healthy and happy are you? How do you create greater change for yourself? What works?

I began the Mastery site because it was “time”. Time for you and time for me. Time for you to learn how to be consistent in practicing change. Time for me to step out and download the wisdom of over 30 years of clinical experience.

What is my passion? Personal transformation and change on the deepest possible level. Moving away from coping techniques and numbing techniques, and moving into uprooting lifelong dysfunctional patterns that have held you back. You have the capacity for tremendous growth. You carry goodwill.

How do you get to where you want to be? This is what this Mastery site is all about. Over the years I have built up a tremendous resource bank of wisdom and practical tools. It is my desire to share as much as I can with you on every possible level. You are in a relationship with yourself and others, and somewhere in this you can be stuck in a way that truly limits you. This also limits those around you. When we are stuck we move into anxiety, depression, anger, insomnia, dependencies and many more expressions of being locked into patterns that create unhappiness.

There are ways out. What does it take? Curiosity, Commitment, Courage, Accountability and Practice. All of these are within our capacity to choose. We have been given the power of choice.

I wanted to create a Mastery site that inspires you and shows you how to move from stuck to unstuck and then to the freedom and the life you truly want. The journey is profound for each one of us. It is magnificent, scary, challenging, and possible. Each one of us has full potential. This mastery site is a catalyst for you to step into your own mastery. We all need support, guidance, inspiration, insights, tools and a community that is bonded together and moving forward.

In this Mastery site there is a large community. The resources on this site are practical, inspirational, cutting edge, and above all, here for YOU. It is my privilege to share with you all that I’ve learned, what I know that works, and how to get there. Allow for your curiosity to kick-start you into action.

Enjoy this Mastery site. It will keep growing as I keep growing, and as you keep growing.

I have coined the phrase that we are all “masters on the go”. So let’s get going. Take one step now.

You have my support, open-heartedness and wisdom.

Welcome to the Mastery site.

Mastery Practice Tool

This is one of my favourites. I find it very rich.

Take a few moments to be quiet. Invite yourself to take a few big breaths, and release any tension. Now imagine someone or something that you love. I often imagine part of nature that moves me deeply. Feel the sensations start to move inside you; flowing inside you. You may feel warmth, or an inner smile, or an opening in your chest. You may feel expansive.

Allow the sensations and nuances to grow, and just silently observe and feel. Willingly invite these nuances to flow all through you as if they are filling you up. This is WHO YOU ARE. Stay in this beautiful place of self-expansion. This is self-love. This is unconditional love – freedom from the thinking mind stating the conditions upon which we are lovable. This place of beauty and appreciation is our natural state. Stay in this place for as long as you wish. You are feeding yourself, and remembering a deeper aspect of yourself that is not dependent on conditions. I practice this regularly. It is a very peaceful place to be.

Testimonial

Bev's Laughing and Breathing Belly Workshop for Children was one of the best I have attended. She has a gifted ability to gently connect with children and teach and share with them her techniques of belly breathing, rooting, mind vacations and laughter. These techniques soothe and calm them whenever they feel overwhelmed or anxious - be at school, home or before bed time. Whether you have an overwhelmed pre-schooler or a test-anxious pre-teen, Bev's approach works! I love that she gave parents the tools to model and share these fundamentals of meditation with their children. I would encourage families to take her course...your children will thank you and you will benefit from ways to keep yourself calm and allow wisdom in.
